The Future of Ultra-Pure
Alumina Starts Here...

ENGINEERED FOR TOMORROW

No mine. No metal. No legacy constraints. Just ultra-pure alumina engineered for the technologies that can’t afford to fail.

semiconductor-chip-1

Semiconductors, batteries, optics, AI infrastructure - the world is racing to secure the materials that power tomorrow’s technologies, but old-world supply chains can’t meet new-world demand.

allumina-powder

Alluminous is solving that with a breakthrough patented process that produces ultra-pure alumina without the need for mining or using energy-heavy aluminium metal — cleanly, efficiently, and sustainably.

SCALABLE GLOBAL FUTURE

It’s modular, mine-free, and already proven in a continuous process.

With our pilot plant nearly complete, we’re building a clean, scalable supply of 4N and 5N HPA — ready to support the industries that demand precision, purity and performance.

This isn’t speculative. It’s engineered. And it’s happening now.

With our pilot plant approaching completion and modular commercial rollout in sight, Alluminous is positioned to become a trusted global supplier of critical material inputs – designed in Australia, commercialised in the US, Europe and Asia, built for scalable ESG aligned growth.

What Makes Alluminous Different

1

No Mining Required

Our feedstock is sourced from widely available industrial chemicals, eliminating the need for new mine development or metal refining.
2

Modular and Scalable

Facilities can be deployed closer to end users, improving supply chain resilience and reducing carbon impact.
3

Multi-Product Capability

From alpha and gamma HPA to aluminium sulphate and high-purity boehmite - all from the same platform.
4

Backed by Proven Expertise

The original inventors and operators of the HiPurA process are leading our technical execution.

LATEST UPDATE

Pilot Plant Nearing Final Stage

The HiPurA pilot facility is now ~90% complete. With commissioning expected shortly, we’ll soon begin production runs to optimise output and initiate customer testing. Regular updates and video progress reports will be released via LinkedIn and our newsletter.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is High Purity Alumina (HPA)?

HPA is a processed form of aluminium oxide (Al₂O₃) with ultra-low impurities. It’s used in semiconductors, LEDs, lithium batteries, and optical components.

Most HPA producers rely on complex or energy-intensive inputs. The HiPurA® process uses widely available industrial feedstocks instead – simplifying the supply chain and enabling cleaner, faster, and more modular production with lower energy input and no need for mining or metal refining.

We supply material to the global semiconductor and battery supply chains, as well as manufacturers of sapphire substrates, optics, and high-performance ceramics.

The first commercial facility is planned for the United States, with sites in Europe and Asia being investigated, all to be supported from our Australian technical base.

The pilot plant is close to completion. We are preparing for customer testing, commercial scaling, and strategic investment.
